Pretty much every other CBS show gets a season released about a year after it airs.Why isn't the series Cold Case available on DVD yet? It has been airing for quite a while.?
It is because of the music rights issues. It is very expensive to get the rights to music for use on DVD, and because Cold Case has such a lot of music, it is really hard and expensive to get permission to get the rights to use it all.
