Help Removing New DVD from its Case?

Some discs don't ever seem to want to come out of their cases. I don't want to use any more force than I'm using in fear of breaking the disc, so what's the best way to remove it without risk of damage? Usually pushing the button in the center causes the disc to release, but this isn't working.Help Removing New DVD from its Case?
Sometimes it may be necessary to push on the center with a pencil or similar sized tool to get it to move. Once you have the disc off the first time, find the little tabs or hooks around the center that clip over the disc and sand or file them down a little. A nail file even works. Just take a couple strokes against each tooth, and check the disc fit before doing more, it doesn't take much to make a difference. If the case gets too loose to hold the disc, get a new case, they don't cost much. Sleeve City even has replacement parts so you can order just the disc holder insert for jewel cases. Check out Sleeve City's Super Jewel cases, too. They come in DVD, BluRay and CD sizes. Mobile Fidelity's flip lock cases that release the center as the case is opened are sweet, too!Help Removing New DVD from its Case?
There's not much you can do besides this...

1) Carefully push all the way down on the center button

2) While doing #1 with one hand, take the other (your writing) hand and pull up gently with all five fingers evenly spaced around the edges of the DVD

This is the best way to do it. I know some are harder than others, but if you do it enough, you will develop the right touch to release virtually all DVDs from their case securely without damage to the DVD or case.

FOR BEST PLAYING RESULTS ON ALL OPTICAL DISCS. Make sure not to touch the blank side of the DVD because is the side the laser reads and finger prints and scratches will affect the performance of the DVD player. If you accidentally touch the playing side with your fingers, take a soft cloth and gently wipe off the smudges with rubbing alcohol.

Happy viewing!
Pushing the center button and pulling the disc at the same time does the trick for me.
