Rented a dvd, but can't open it, because of a plastic piece that's says secure casing on it. How do I open it?

Take it back, raise hell and ask them to pay for the gas money you had to spent due to their incompetence.

You should be able to get a free rental out of itRented a dvd, but can't open it, because of a plastic piece that's says secure casing on it. How do I open it?
take it back to the rental place and have them open it.Rented a dvd, but can't open it, because of a plastic piece that's says secure casing on it. How do I open it?
jigsaw, open right up
the store has attached this security device in order to prevent you from stealing it. wonder how you took it out because the alarm should go off when you pass through the security gate. anyways as everyone hs suggested you need a special gadget to remove it. however you cant remove the security thingy unless you use a hammer but they will remove the lock on the casing for you and give it to you behind the counter..thats how it works around here. hope this helps!!

cheers
Use a hammer.
The store that you rented it from, has the device to open it which should've been done before you left the store.
Go back to the video store and have them remove it. Simple as Pie. Don't forget the receipt from when you bought it.
Take your receipt back to the store and show them that they forgot to remove the tag. Nicley point out that your inconvenienced by this mistake and would like to be compensated. I had that happen to be with a skirt a few weeks back. They were very apologetic and offered me a gift card for a future purchase. Good luck
You have to have a special machine that only the video rentals places have to remove it. They should have done that for you. Take it back and have them do it.
Um...either you stole it or the clerk at the video store forgot to open it.

I figure if you had stole it, you would have just broke the case. So I guess you really did rent it and don't want to break it because you will be charged. Take it back up there to have them open it. Then ask for a credit since you had to use your gas and time to go back for something that should have been done.
